Overview

The Sales Representative runs the mid-funnel: it drafts estimates and proposals from deal context, follows up at the right cadence, keeps the forecast honest, and hands closed-won deals to delivery. It reuses what has worked on similar wins, reports in Slack, and keeps the send step in your hands by default.

What it does

What it takes off your plate.

Proposals and estimates

Drafts estimates and proposals from deal context, reusing line items and rates from similar wins, and flags its assumptions.

Deal follow-up

Nudges sent proposals on cadence and answers procurement questions using history from past closed deals.

Forecast hygiene

Keeps the forecast honest: moves stale deals, flags shaky probabilities, and surfaces deals about to land.

Closed-won handoff

On close, creates the delivery project, copies scope, sets up tasks, and briefs the Project Manager agent.

Example tasks

Things you can hand it.

  • Draft a first-pass estimate from deal notes using line items from previous successful proposals.
  • Follow up on a sent estimate 48 hours after delivery: "happy to answer any questions."
  • Reply to procurement questions on an active proposal using history from past closed deals.
  • Update deal stage and probability when activity signals warrant it, without waiting for a human prompt.
  • Flag deals with no activity in 14+ days and propose next steps.
  • Pull together a "this week's forecast" summary for the sales channel.
  • Create the delivery project when a deal closes won: copy scope, set up tasks, brief the PM agent.
  • Identify upsell opportunities in the active client base: existing accounts with expansion signals.
  • Draft contract language riffs when a prospect pushes back on boilerplate terms.
  • Surface deals that would accelerate with a small scope concession based on past patterns.
  • Run a monthly pipeline hygiene sweep: close lost deals, update probabilities, dedupe contacts.
How it works

Connect once, then read Slack.

    Connect

We set the agent up on your pipeline, rate card, and prior proposals, and connect the tools it should use.

  2. 2

    Draft

It drafts estimates and proposals from deal context, reusing what has worked on similar wins.

  3. 3

    Follow up

It nudges sent proposals on cadence and keeps the forecast honest.

  4. 4

    Hand off

On closed-won it creates the delivery project and briefs the Project Manager agent.

Tiers

Start where you're comfortable.

Same agent, three levels of control. Moving up is a settings change, not a new setup.

The agent reviews; your team acts.

  • Read-only access to your pipeline and deals.
  • Weekly forecast and stale-deal flags.
  • Drafts and recommendations in Slack.

Managed

The agent drafts, you approve, the agent sends.

  • Everything in QA.
  • Drafts estimates, proposals, and follow-ups.
  • Sends only after you approve.

Full

The agent runs the work; you set the limits.

  • Everything in Managed.
  • Runs follow-ups and forecast hygiene on a schedule.
  • Escalates negotiation and high-value deals to a human.
FAQ

Common questions.

What do I need to get started?

A Helm workspace with your pipeline and estimates, and a Slack channel. Gmail, DocuSign, and Google Drive are optional integrations.

How does it draft proposals?

It pulls line items from your prior winning proposals and your workspace rate card, drafts the estimate against the deal context, and flags assumptions for a sanity check.

Does it send contracts on its own?

It drafts proposals as estimates in Helm. Sending via DocuSign runs through the integration, and most teams keep the send step human while letting the agent chase follow-ups.

How is this different from the SDR agent?

The SDR handles top-of-funnel: prospecting, qualification, first meeting. The Sales Rep handles mid-to-bottom funnel: proposals, negotiation support, close, and forecast hygiene. Many teams run both.

How do the tiers work?

QA reviews and drafts. Managed drafts and sends after approval. Full runs follow-ups and hygiene on a schedule. Moving up a tier is a settings change, not a new setup.
