Deals & Pipeline

Track sales opportunities through your pipeline

Deals track sales opportunities from first contact to closed. Move them across a kanban pipeline, attach the products you're selling, and watch value add up per stage.

Creating a Deal

  1. Click New Deal, or use the + on any pipeline column to create one in that stage.
  2. Enter a title, and set the stage and priority (they default to Lead and Medium).
  3. Add the value, expected close date, probability, account, contact, and owner as you have them.
  4. Save the deal. You can attach products once it's saved.

Deal Fields

  • Title - The name of the opportunity
  • Value - The deal amount
  • Stage and Priority
  • Probability - Likelihood of winning, 0 to 100%
  • Expected close date
  • Account and Contact - The company and person
  • Assigned to - The owner
  • Description - Free-form notes

Deals use a single workspace currency and don't have tags or a separate lead-source field.

Stages

Deals move through a fixed set of stages:

  • Lead - Initial inquiry or contact
  • Qualified - Confirmed as a real opportunity
  • Proposal - Proposal or estimate sent
  • Negotiation - Discussing terms
  • Won - Closed successfully
  • Lost - Didn't close
  • Archived - Closed out and hidden from the board

These stages are fixed for the workspace and there's a single pipeline.

Moving Deals Through the Pipeline

Drag a card between columns on the board, or change the Stagefield on the deal. Moving a deal to Won or Lost records the close date. There's no close-reason prompt; archive the deal afterward to clear it from the board.

Products on a Deal

On a saved deal, open the Products tab and attach items from your Products catalog with a quantity and rate. Helm shows a suggested deal valuefrom the totals, and you can apply it to the deal's value in one click.

Views & Forecasting

View deals as a board (the default) or a list. Each board column shows the total value of the deals in it, and a pipeline widget summarizes active value across stages. Filter by stage, priority, title, or account, sort the list, and save your setup as a view.

Tip

The board's per-column totals are a quick forecast of where value sits. Totals are a straight sum of deal value, not weighted by probability.

Actions & Notifications

Click any card to open the deal. Select rows in the list to delete in bulk. You can choose to be notified when a deal changes stage or value, is assigned to you, or is won or lost.
