Agents are AI staff that handle operations work alongside your team. They read and write data, communicate with clients, and follow instructions with the level of oversight you choose.

Roles & Skills

Every agent has a role (its job function) and one or more skills (domain modules that add context to its prompt). Pre-built roles include Account Manager, Project Manager, Billing Specialist, and more. You can also create custom agents from scratch.

Autonomy Levels

• Observe - Watches and reports findings, takes no action
• Suggest - Proposes actions for you to approve
• Auto - Executes tool calls directly without asking

Tool Groups

Agents get read or read_write access to platform tool groups: Task Management, Client Management, Billing, Documents, Time Tracking, Calendar, Analytics, and Slack. External integrations add tool groups for each connected service (Klaviyo, HubSpot, etc.).

Assignments

• Tasks - Assign an agent to a task to have it execute or research the work
• Comment replies - @mention an agent in a task comment
• Channels - Invite an agent to a Slack channel (Pro+)
• Schedules - Run an agent on a recurring cadence

Cost & Limits

Each agent run tracks tokens and cost. Set a monthly spending cap per agent to avoid runaway usage. See Plans & Pricing for included agent credits.
