Set up an AI agent by describing the job in plain language

The Agent Builder sets up an AI agent through a short conversation. You describe the job you want done, and the builder proposes a complete setup, then creates the agent and runs a sample to prove it works. Most agents take a couple of minutes to stand up.

Agents Are Roles, Not Tasks

An agent is a role, an AI employee with an ongoing job, like an SDR or a billing specialist. It isn't a single one-off task or a workflow. The builder always starts from "what role do you need," then you can give that role a schedule or wire it into automation separately.

How It Works

1. Click New agent and describe what you want done
2. The builder reviews your existing agents, connections, and templates
3. It proposes a role and asks a few focused questions
4. You answer inline, and it creates the agent and runs a sample
5. You finalize when it looks right, or keep adjusting

What Gets Configured

• Role - The agent's job and default instructions
• Skills - Reusable capabilities you attach to the role
• Knowledge - Reference material the agent can draw on
• Tools - Platform and external services it can use
• Autonomy - Observe, Suggest, or Autonomous (see AI Agents)

Drafts & Finalizing

If you close the builder mid-setup, the agent is saved as a draft with its schedules paused, so you can pick up where you left off. Agents don't go live until you finalize them. Prefer to configure everything by hand? An advanced manual setup is available from the builder.
