Accept online payments on invoices

Connect Stripe to collect card payments directly on your invoices. When a client pays, the invoice updates itself and the payment is recorded.

Setup

1. Go to Settings → Integrations and find Stripe.
2. Click Connect and complete Stripe's onboarding.
3. Finish any required steps until the account shows as connected.

What Happens on Payment

A connected Stripe account adds a Pay Now button to your public invoices. When a client pays by card:

• The invoice moves to Paid (or Partially Paid)
• The paid date is recorded
• A payment is logged against the invoice

This is for online card payments. To record an offline payment (check, bank transfer, cash), use Add Payment on the invoice instead.

Fees & Payouts

Stripe's standard processing fees apply to each payment. On top of that, Helm charges a small platform fee based on your monthly payment volume, only when you collect payments through Helm. Payouts follow your Stripe account's schedule. See the pricing page for the current fee schedule.
