Overview

The LinkedIn Ghostwriter drafts a weekly batch of posts in your voice. It mines material from the work you shipped, client wins, and relevant industry news, varies the formats, and opens each post with a strong hook. Drafts land in Documents for review. With LinkedIn connected, it can publish the ones you approve.

What it does

What it takes off your plate.

Voice modeling

Learns your voice from past posts and a voice guide, then checks every draft against it so it sounds like you.

Idea mining

Pulls post-worthy material from shipped projects, client wins, and topical industry news via web search.

Post drafting

Writes each post with a scroll-stopping first line and one clear takeaway, varied across story, contrarian, and how-to formats.

Weekly batch

Produces three to five posts a week and suggests a posting day for each, all in one document for review.

Engagement prompts

Optionally drafts a first comment and a few reply angles to seed conversation on each post.

Grounded and honest

Grounds every post in something real and avoids engagement-bait that overpromises. No invented names or metrics.

Example tasks

Things you can hand it.

  • Draft this week's batch of LinkedIn posts.
  • Turn the Northwind project win into a story post.
  • Write a contrarian take on a trend in our industry this week.
  • Draft a how-to post from the process we used on the last launch.
  • Give me five hook options for a post about pricing.
  • Rewrite this post to open with a stronger first line.
  • Suggest posting days for this week's batch.
  • Draft a first comment to seed engagement on this post.
  • Pull three lessons from last month's projects worth posting about.
  • Match this draft to my voice from my last ten posts.
How it works

Connect once, then read Slack.

  1. 1

    Connect

We set the agent up on your project work and past posts, and connect LinkedIn if you want it to publish.

  2. 2

    Mine

It pulls stories from the last week or two of shipped work and client wins, plus relevant industry news.

  3. 3

    Draft

It writes the batch in your voice, varies the formats, and opens each post with a hook.

  4. 4

    Review

It lists the batch in Documents with suggested posting days and posts a summary to Slack for approval.

Tiers

Start where you're comfortable.

Same agent, three levels of control. Moving up is a settings change, not a new setup.

QA

The agent drafts; you review and post.

  • Read access to your project work and published posts for voice.
  • A weekly batch of drafts written into Documents.
  • A strong hook and one takeaway per post, with format variety.

Managed

The agent drafts on a schedule and queues for approval.

  • Everything in QA.
  • A scheduled weekly batch with suggested posting days.
  • A Slack summary of what's ready to review.

Full

The agent drafts and, once approved, publishes.

  • Everything in Managed.
  • Publishes approved posts to a connected LinkedIn account.
  • Never auto-publishes without your approval.
FAQ

Common questions.

What do I need to get started?

A Helm workspace with projects and client work to draw from, and a Slack channel for the batch. A voice guide or a handful of past posts helps it match your voice faster. Connect LinkedIn to publish on the Full tier.

Does it post to LinkedIn on its own?

Only on the Full tier, with LinkedIn connected, and only after you approve each post. On QA and Managed it drafts into Documents and waits for review. It never auto-publishes on the lower tiers.

How does it sound like me and not a brand account?

It models your voice from your past posts and any voice guide you attach, capturing tone, sentence length, and recurring themes, then checks each draft against that. The more of your writing it can see, the closer the match.

Where do the post ideas come from?

From your real work: shipped projects, client wins, and lessons from the last week or two, plus relevant industry news it finds with web search. It grounds every post in something real and never invents client names or metrics.

How is this different from the LinkedIn Outreach agent?

The Ghostwriter writes posts for your own audience to build presence. The LinkedIn Outreach agent runs one-to-one prospecting: it drafts connection notes and DMs for specific pipeline leads. One is broadcast, the other is direct outreach.
